Works by Brahms, Alan Richardson, Arthur Bliss, Gordon Phillips and Dirk Bosse will be played by Anthony Jennings (clarinet and bass clarinet) on his return visit to the 60 Minutes series.

Jennings has been  the professor of Bass and Eb clarinet at Trinity College of Music in London since 1990.

He spent 37 years with the BBC Symphony Orchestra as its principal bass clarinet and basset horn. That period saw him work with many famous conductors from Sir Malcolm Sargent to Sir Andrew Davis.

An exchange arrangement enabled him to join the London Symphony Orchestra on a world tour as well as twice touring the Far East with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

He also played occasionally with the other London orchestras and at Covent Garden and English National Opera.

His musical credits also include chamber ensembles such as Melos, Park Lane Group and Athena as well as BBC contemporary music groups under the direction of Pierre Boulez.

He will appear at the Regis Centre alongside 60 Minutes of Classical Music resident musicians Roger Clayden (cello) and Andrew Rowe (piano).
